Here I am all geared up with my vuvuzela, and I included a pic of the one section of the stadium just to show how many South African supporters there were. I had an absolute ball even though it was a 4-5 hour drive there and back, it was worth it. I doubt I will go to another game, but I am very glad I did attend one live and best of all my country.
As for my card today, this is one I made for my sister. Her birthday was on Tuesday, yip the same day I went to watch the match, needless to say I have not yet given it to her, lol!! She has a teenage daughter and although my niece is the model daughter anyone could ask for (that figures, everyone says she's just like me, rofl!!!), she has her teenage moments so I thought this card would be perfect for my sister.
I printed Stella from Bugaboo stamps on a laser printer, left it for a day to 'dry' really well and then coloured it with my prismacolor pencils, and blended with sansador. I cut the image with an oval nestie and layered it on an oval mat. The scalloped border was done with a fiskars border punch, one of my favourites (do I say that a lot!!??). I added some glaze to her glasses with my sakura glaze pen, it makes them look so good, but sadly the photos never show that kind of detail.
That's it for today, not much more I can add and I have already made this post longer than it should be. Do people read them all. I know I try when I visit other blogs, but it is often just impossible to keep up.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, my next post will be some more Clown Numbers! MORE!!??? I hear you all say, lol! They're really cute, you'll not want to miss then, honest, hehehe.

Oh wow Meahni, you go girl! How fab that you actually went to a match. The only time I ever watch soccer is the World Cup, so it's been 4 long years and I am enjoying every moment of it. The crafting has sadly been neglected... but I'll make up for it afterwards. Love your pics and card.
Hi Meahni,
Fabulous card. I love that image, it is a hoot.
My hubby has watched every game live (except for 4 of the group matches since they were broadcast simultaneously with 4 others).Bafana Bafana did well but he reckons Brasil will win. Well done you for supporting your team.
Hugs,
Fiona x
Nothing quite like being at the game! I hated Vuvuzelas untill I learnt how to blow one and now I drive my family crazy. LOL I am worse than the grandchildren!
I love Stella and use her often for my cards. Your card is lovely.
I am so jealous! I would love to see a game live - it's constantly on at my house & I have a wager on who will win (hope I'm right!!) How exciting you saw your Bafana Bafana play & win!!
And of course your card is super sweet - I really must get some of those stamps!!

Oh, and yes.... we read ALL the post!!
You make me proud girl! To go out in this freezing whether to support the team.... You're far braver that I.
Stunning cards over the last posts. The 'bitch' 21st card brought many a laugh. Everybody kept saying "Oh so this is where Nolz gets her bitchiness from...." I truly don't understand where they get that idea from... ;-(
